नाना पाटेकर को श्रद्धांजलि देते हुए रितेश देशमुख ने एक्स पर एक पोस्ट शेयर किया, जिसमें उन्होंने लिखा, 'मैं स्तब्ध हूं. ऐसा लग रहा है जैसे किसी ट्रक ने मुझे टक्कर मार दी हो. नाना पाटेकर जी के निधन की खबर सुनकर मुझे गहरा सदमा लगा है. एक बेहतरीन अभिनेता, जिनकी कोई तुलना नहीं थी, उन्होंने अपनी अनोखी एक्टिंग से लोगों के दिलों में अपनी जगह बनाई. ऐसा कोई किरदार या भूमिका नहीं थी जिसे वे निभा न सकें. उन्होंने हर भूमिका को बखूबी निभाया. चाहे वो एक दमदार नायक हों, एक खौफनाक खलनायक हों या फिर उनकी इमोशनलेस कॉमेडी. वे पर्दे के बाहर भी एक हीरो थे और लोगों की भलाई के लिए अथक रूप से दान-पुण्य करते रहते थे.'
I am shocked beyond words. Feels like a truck has hit me. Deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Nana Patekar ji. An actor par excellence, incomparable to anyone, he carved his place in people’s hearts with his own unique style and brand of acting. There wasn’t a role or a character he couldn’t perform. He aced it all — a larger-than-life hero, a terrifying villain or be it his poker-faced comedy. He was a hero off screen too, and worked tirelessly through his charity for the good of the people. I had the privilege of sharing screen space with him in Bluffmaster and Housefull 5, but working with him in a Marathi film will forever remain my unfulfilled desire. My heartfelt and deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and the millions of his well-wishers. Truly, the end of an era. Thank you for your wisdom, your chats with me, the pat on my back, the shared laughter and for enriching me as a person. Rest in glory !!!!
