Mumbai: The success of Sunny Leone in Bollywood seems to have inspired other adult stars to try their luck in the Indian film industry. This time, it is Shanti Dynamite, a 21-year-old adult star of Indian descent from UK. If the reports are to be believed, Shanti will make her debut in director Saurabh Malik’s upcoming film. Malik started his directorial career with Ab Hoga Dharna Unlimited last year.
Shanti, who does adult chat shows for UK television and even runs her own production company shooting Indian adult music videos, will be seen doing an item song in the film titled Chal Doctor Doctor Khelein. "I am a performer ?rst and I don't ?nd anything wrong with being part of the entertainment world through whichever way I seem right. I am absolutely thrilled about doing this song. This is what I dreamt of doing all my life," says Shanti.
Talking about her growing up years in London, Shanti says that hers was a completely Indian upbringing. "My mother is a Punjabi and my father is a Greek. My mother's father was from Jalandhar and was taken to Uganda by the British government when they were taking Indians to work in Africa, to develop the railway lines and to work in the coal mines. My parents got divorced when I was too young and my mother brought me up single-handedly. I grew up while going to the gurdwaras, eating Indian dishes, wearing Indian clothes and watching Bollywood films,” she adds.
The movie, which is based on the life of medical students, will have Saurabh and Sonel Singh (of Roadies fame) in the lead roles.
Sunny Leone made her acting debut in Bollywood with Bhatt Camps’ Jism 2. While the movie did no wonders at the box office, Sunny’s bold performance made her a topic of discussion in the entertainment industry.
