Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who is all set to release his mafia drama "Gangs of Wasseypur", says he has bought himself his first car.
"So got my first vehicle that I bought myself, a Mahindra XUV, super and 100 percent Indian. Proud. Its taken 20 years to be able to buy my first vehicle, had to be an Indian brand," he posted on Twitter Friday.
The 39-year-old director-producer landed in Mumbai 20 years ago and struggled a lot to make his mark as a director. He started his career writing plays and got his big break in films with "Black Friday" in 2004.
There was no looking back for Kashyap after his directorial "Dev D" became a hit in 2009. He went to turn a producer and encourage many new talents with films like "That Girl in Yellow Boots" and "Shaitan". PTI
